Moving to Cancun? Here Are Some Tips!
By Jane Goodwin | June 7, 2007
If you can’t bring your car down right away, don’t panic. The bus service in Cancun is fantastic and incredibly inexpensive. Taxes are everywhere, too, but they are more costly in the long run.
Air-conditioned buses are more expensive than the other kind, but for some of us, the few extra cents are well worth it. The plush tour buses, ADA for example, are really nice if you’re traveling a longer distance.
Bus schedules of every kind are posted almost everywhere in Mexico, and Cancun is no exception.
Parking is often at a minumum in Cancun, and the transit services are really so convenient, it’s sometimes not worth it to worry about your own vehicle down here. It’s so much simpler to just hop on one of the many, many buses that leave every few minutes from just about anywhere.
