More Reasons To Relocate To Panama!

A $5.2 billion dollar expansion of the Panama Canal is currently underway, and accompanying this expansion is a renewed surge of interest in Panamanian property. If you already own property near the canal, I’m guessing that it will appreciate significantly.

But besides the Canal, Panama has so many other choices for Americans who are seeking a retirement home, or a second home. Whether you are investigating Panama for vacation purposes, retirement purposes, or simply investment purposes, you will discover that Panama is a tropical paradise with great appeal, for many reasons.

One is the real estate. Even though prices are rising near the Canal and elsewhere in the larger cities, you can still buy beachfront property in Panama for far less than the same level of real estate would cost in the States.

There are also amazingly good retirement incentives in Panama. For example, retirees are eligible for substantial discounts on a variety of services and necessities, including utility bills, airline tickets, medical bills of all kinds (including medications), restaurants, movies, sporting events, plays, etc.

Panama has internet access, cable television, cell phone services, as well. These days, few people can “exist” without these amenities!

In other words, you should investigate Panama for your retirement destination because of many things: the high quality of life, the low cost of living, the real estate values, the discounts, and all of the amenities of modern life.
