Mexico: Your Health Care Dollar Will Go Much Farther!

By Jane Goodwin | September 19, 2007

More and more people of retirement age are moving to Mexico because not only will their dollar stretch much further in Mexico, but also their health care expenses will be much lower.

The combination can be irresistible to people who are or will soon be living on a fixed income.

Many of these fixed incomes require a retiree to live so frugally, if he/she stays in the States, that the quality of life is lowered to the breaking point. This same income, in Mexico, allows the retiree to live well, and have his/her health care needs met at the same time.

Add to this the fact that most Americans who have retired to Mexico have retained their voting rights in their home state, and you’ve got the perfect blend of two perfect worlds!
