Costa Rica’s Jaco Beach Is Casual, Relaxed, and Unbelievably Beautiful
By Jane Goodwin | March 22, 2007
Looking for a fantastic beach vacation, with no crowds, and tons of things to do? Do you like the nightlife? Like to boogie? Do you appreciate some good music? How about clubbing without having to dress up?
Jaco Beach is the place for you, my friends. It’s a popular Costa Rican beach, but it’s far less crowded than a Florida beach, and a lot more diverse and fun. Sure, there are some elegant clubs here, but for the most part, things are very relaxed and casual. Jaco caters to foreign tourists, and almost everyone there speaks English.
Is your budget on the skimpy side? Don’t worry; there are plenty of things for you to do in Jaco. Money no object? Jaco caters to you, too, with TONS of fantastic clubs, galleries, etc. It’s the same with hotels and accommodations; there are places for people with every possible kind of budget to stay, and all are clean and reputable.
After you’ve lounged on the beach for a while, maybe you’d like a tour? There are hundreds to choose from; just pick up a brochure at your hotel; of course, some tourists have arranged their tours via Google before their plane or boat ever leaves the States. Either way, we’ll fit you in.
If you are the athletic type, Jaco is famous for its fantastic surfing. For this same reason, we advise caution when it comes to swimming; the waves are HUGE and the surf tends to be rough. Are you a fisherman? You can do that here, too.
In other words, Jaco Beach is the perfect place for your vacation, and maybe even for your initiation into the relaxed and beautiful Costa Rican lifestyle.
