Costa Rican Homes Comes In All Shapes and Sizes!

By Jane Goodwin | July 2, 2007

People in Costa Rica are learning to create beautiful homes using materials that are. . . shall we say, unusual?

I’ve read about gorgeous homes built from sand-stuffed plastic bags, and earthbags.

But this home, on Punta Uva Beach in Costa Rica, is clearly the winner in my book.  It reminds me of the tree house in Disney’s “Swiss Family Robinson,” even though it’s not technically a tree house.  It does, however, utilize trees.

You will have to see it to believe it.  I think I would kill, just for the bathroom.

Go on, take a look at this beautiful Costa Rican home. Try not to drool on your keyboard.
